Installing Budgeto on your device

Budgeto works in a web browser. You can add the website to your device's Home
Screen for quick access, or keep using it in a browser tab. Installation does
not create an account or subscription; sign in with the same Budgeto account
you use on other devices.

 

iPhone and iPad

 

Open the Budgeto installation guide in Safari. Tap Share, choose
Add to Home Screen, choose Open as Web App if that option is offered,
and tap Add. The Share control can appear in different places as Safari's
toolbar changes. If the option is missing, check the full Share menu or open
the page in Safari instead of an email or social app's built-in browser.

 

Android

 

Open the guide in Chrome. Use the browser menu and choose Install app or
Add to Home screen when available, then follow the browser prompts. Other
browsers may offer different options.

 

Computer

 

In a supported browser, use its install icon or menu option if one is
available. You can also keep Budgeto in a regular tab or bookmark.

 

Installation does not guarantee that every feature works offline. You may need
to sign in on first launch. Pending budget changes stay in Budgeto's normal
sync and recovery flow while you use the browser.

 

Web file imports support income and expense CSV, TSV, and spreadsheet files.
The native iOS companion supports expense CSV/TSV import; add income manually.
